In the darkest little hours, on the darkest night, I drink my poison, because my heart is not mine.
I asked you, if I could borrow yours, but you turned away, and walked into the light.
I start to scream of fear, and lonely sadness, because I will soon die, since my heart is not mine.
I search and I dig, but I can't find, a heart that I can put in mine.
If I gave you my heart, can I then borrow yours? just for a little while, so I can know what love feels. before I die.
